First Baptist Church of Cross Hill, SC

Thank you for having us back to sing and play.  Your church is beautiful.  You are such a sweet group.  Your smiling, clapping to the rhythm, and singing along with us makes it fun.  We are praying that the LORD blesses your church!

Home with a Heart

Thank you, Mike Johnson, for inviting our family to come and put on a Christmas concert for your group.  It was so good to see you again along with other familiar faces.  We got a kick out of the photo of Daddy and you attempting to do a selfie! 😊  Keep up the good work you are doing for the LORD.  We hope you have a very Blessed Christmas!

The Greenville Place, Greenville, SC

We had fun singing and playing Christmas music again for the dear folks at the nursing home we’ve ministered at for the past 25 years!  It was so nice to be inside again.  Merry Christmas!

Priscilla’s Christmas Recital

Priscilla had a big turnout and packed out the church!  Deborah played the prelude music on her harp.  It was great to get to know some of the students and their families better at the cookie social that followed.

Thank you, Miss Gloria, for inviting us to sing at your church’s “Pie & Praise” (awesome idea!).  We enjoyed listening to the testimonies.  The Lord laid on our hearts to sing “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” We thought it was so cool to learn afterwards how the hymn was personally connected with the preacher there and his wife (John & Lenora Pisarcik); the hymn’s author, Thomas Obadiah Chisolm, is Lenora’s great uncle!

We love you, Gloria!  It was a great night of food and fellowship!

In Memory of Bruce Gosnell

Thank you, Gosnell Family, for asking us to sing and play at Mr. Bruce’s funeral.  He was always so kind to our family at church.  We’ll never forget his sweet smile and the times he and Miss Donna sang beautifully for our Sunday school class.  We were not familiar with the last hymn you both sang, Donna, before we left, but we loved it!   Then God “kissed” us when our new church sent us a program for our first Sunday, and the congregation was going to sing the same song: “Where Could I Go?”  God was funny, and it confirmed in our hearts that He was with us every step!

We are keeping you all in our prayers and look forward to seeing Bruce again one day!

His memorable, sweet smile

We had a great time providing the music and preaching for your Homecoming service!  Thank you for inviting our family.  The food was so good, and great options for desserts!  Thank you for your sweet prayer at the end.  It meant a lot to us.

We enjoyed trying your upright bass!
