Luke did a great job leading the meeting, and Peter did a terrific job playing The Star Spangled Banner on the piano!
Our “Singing Councilman” Luke had a blast at the Governor’s Mansion over the weekend for dinner and meetings!
We thank the Lord for our fallen heroes and pray for their families.
Priscilla held her annual piano and violin spring recital last night. What a packed out crowd! Thank you to all of the students who worked hard and for those that brought delicious refreshments!
It was an honor to sing and play at the funeral of one of our all-time favorite pastors, Tab Scarborough. Thank you, Gloria. You and the family are in our prayers. Your husband meant a great deal to our whole family. These are two of our favorite photos of him with Daddy!
Our family had the honor of being a part of Luke’s swearing in as a Laurens County councilman! God is so good!
Today, I took a solemn oath and was officially sworn into office. Having my family surround me was an incredible blessing! The moment was so surreal and made me realize how privileged and honored I am to have this opportunity to serve and represent the great people of Laurens County.
After some research and inquiry, we believe that at 23 years old, I am likely the youngest person to ever be elected to public office in Laurens County history. This achievement is not about me, but rather how the Lord has directed my steps this past year. He is the one to whom I give all the praise, glory, and honor!
As I serve my four-year term, I will always represent the PEOPLE. I will always strive to do what’s right, and not just what is socially attractive. I vow to defend the Constitution and preserve Liberty for this generation and the ones that will follow. God will be my guide, and Freedom will be my voice!

Today we gathered at the historic downtown Laurens Courthouse and prayed over our country and the controversial election. What a great time of prayer with several pastors from our local community, and our very own state rep. Stewart Jones. Thank you to the many people that came out to pray and show their support.
We had the opportunity to attend Burnsview Baptist Church for the BLEXIT Conference as well as listen to Erik Corcoran speak on Sunday morning there this past weekend. It was a refreshing time of unified patriotism with like-minded Christians. It was packed! We thank Burnsview’s pastor, Tim Huckaby, for his bold stand in the community! Erik Corcoran recently started a movement called SC-We The People which has already attracted thousands of South Carolinian patriots.

We’re so happy that Luke won the Laurens county council Republican primary tonight! There is no Democrat running in our district, and so this was the biggest part of the race. We’re very proud of Luke and of the fact that he gives God the glory for his win tonight!

We are so excited to share this patriotic video with y’all that we made for Luke’s campaign for County Council! We were all able to be a part of it and had a lot of fun doing it. We want to wish you all a blessed Memorial Day weekend, and we hope you get to spend this time with your families and take time to remember our veterans and those who have died to preserve our great country!! We had a great time getting to participate with Samaritan’s Purse this week in Seneca helping with tornado cleanup. We had a lot of fun serving with the people from our church and also getting to meet and work with other volunteers.
Although we may be housebound, that doesn’t stop us from worshipping the Savior of the world this Easter time. Luke’s friends in Laurens came up with an idea for families to put lit crosses in front yards. They were interviewed on the news the other day, and it has really taken off! There are now thousands of Crosses! Praise Jesus!
On Wednesday night, we had the opportunity to watch our church’s live online service with a small group of some of our friends at our house! We enjoyed being able to fellowship with others during this time. Unfortunately, due to the situation, some of our musical engagements have been postponed to a later date. We will keep y’all posted! We will be singing on Sunday evening March 29th for our church’s online service. Y’all can watch any of our church’s great services online every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, Sunday morning at 9:30 and 10:45 AM, and Sunday evening at 6:00 PM! We have included the website links below.

Our family had a great time at church on the 4th of July—the sweet fellowship, food, playing games, singing, honoring our God and country, and the fireworks. Thank you, RSBC!

Thank you, Mrs. Hansen, for asking us to sing and play at your dear husband’s funeral. He loved Jesus Christ and served him faithfully to the end. We all look forward to seeing him again one day in our Heavenly Home in “Beulah Land”!
